My story

My crochet journey

Crochet found me when I needed it most: in the middle of a busy, demanding career in publishing.

Working with art and craft magazines, I was surrounded by beautiful handmade work every day. I picked up a hook as a way to switch off, and soon discovered that the steady rhythm of stitches calmed my mind like nothing else.

As my love for crochet grew, so did my curiosity. I researched craft trends, studied techniques and began writing my own patterns. When I left corporate life to raise my family, crochet became a bigger part of every day, and teaching followed naturally.

Today, my travels feed my designs. Old buildings, tiled floors and the colours of places I visit find their way into my projects, and into the stories I share in class.

My hope is simple: that you leave each class a little calmer, a little prouder, and keen to pick up your hook again.
