Find your place at the table
Whether you have never held a hook or are ready for something new, there is a seat here for you. Groups are small and levels are mixed, so I can work with each person individually and you can always move at your own pace.

Growing your craft
For crocheters ready to go further. This is where we explore the wider world of crochet, through original projects that stretch your skills and spark new ideas.

- Colourwork in crochet and Tunisian crochet
- Mosaic patterns in crochet and Tunisian crochet
- Beaded crochet, and pairing crochet with gemstones
I am always reading and learning, from old books and vintage magazines to the newest publications. Some of the techniques I teach are newly invented; others are borrowed from much older times and given a fresh life. Crochet keeps evolving, and so do my classes, so there is always something new and exciting waiting at my table.
Every class includes
Your own teacher, beside you
With six people at most, I sit with each of you every class. I watch your hands, adjust your grip and tension, and tailor my help to you and your project.
Step-by-step notes
Clear notes with photos of each stage, so you can keep going happily at home.
Left-handed support
Left-handed crocheters are shown every step their way.
Many students start with one class and are still at my table years later. Some have been coming for ten years, and new faces are always welcomed warmly.
Please bring scissors and a notepad. Starter packs with good-quality hooks and yarn are available.
Try it at home
A mindful round
Try this at the start of any project, or whenever your mind feels busy.
- Settle. Sit back, drop your shoulders and take three slow breaths.
- Feel. Notice the yarn between your fingers: its weight, its texture, its colour.
- Count. Work one round, counting each stitch softly, out loud or in your head.
- Notice. When the round closes, pause and look at what your hands have made.
No rushing, no judging. Just one round.
